The youngest members of our society need extra special care and attention in their first few years of life. Many of our GPs have a special interest in paediatric care and work together with our nursing team to prevent and treat common childhood illnesses and health concerns.
The Ministry of Health recommends all children be immunised against various childhood illnesses at 6 weeks, 3 months, 5 months, 15 months and 4 years of age. Our experienced nurses will help make this process as pain-free as possible for both the child and their parent! Please phone our reception staff to make an immunisation appointment.
Catching the flu is different from catching a cold. Influenza is a serious illness which can drain your energy for several weeks, put you in hospital or can even be fatal. Influenza is highly infectious so an annual flu vaccination is the best way to protect yourself. If you suffer from a long-term health condition, are pregnant, or are aged 65 years or over, flu vaccinations are free. Please contact our reception staff to make an appointment.
Chadwick Healthcare’s team of nursing staff conduct regular clinics to help patients with the following issues: Lifestyle counselling, weight management, chronic disease management and diabetes care. Professional and confidential support is offered to help patients address these long-term health issues and improve their day-to-day well-being.
