Dr Bridget Louie chose to become a GP 12 years ago because it offered a challenging, yet family-friendly career where she could make a positive difference in people’s lives.
The mother-of-three originally hails from Kerikeri, in the Bay of Islands,but has spent the past decade working at Chadwick Healthcare.
Bridget studied medicine at Otago University and holds postgraduate diplomas in child health, obstetrics and medical gynaecology. She is also a fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.
She is particularly interested in children and women’s health, and enjoys meeting a variety of people in general practice. She regards it as a privilege to be involved in people’s medical care, andis known for her excellent listening skills and ability to empathise with patients.
Bridget also tries to reflect her Christian values through her medical practice, and is an active member of her local church. Her other interests include organic gardening and supporting her husband and children in their activities and endeavours.

Since Graduating Mark has worked in many different areas of medicine throughout the Hawkes’ Bay and Auckland region, completing his Paediatric diploma at Auckland University. He particularly enjoys Paediatrics, and minor surgery.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter's as well as Hockey, Skiing, Mountain biking and many more outdoor activities the Bay has to offer.
Mark works Monday to Friday at both our Greerton and Tauriko locations.
Chadwick Healthcare Greerton
Marshall was born and raised in Tauranga and has worked as a GP at Chadwick Healthcare since 1992, having graduated from Auckland Medical School four years earlier. He is a fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and also holds a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation from the University of Otago. His professional interests including helping patients with traumatic brain injury and work injury rehabilitation, as well as caring for the aged.
Skin cancer is another area of Marshall’s expertise, and he holds a post-graduate Certificate in Skin Cancer Surgery from the University of Queensland. Marshall is credentialed by the Western Bay of Plenty PHO to perform skin cancer surgery to an advanced level and conducts minor skin surgery at Chadwick’s purpose-built day surgery.
Marshall is passionate about general practice and enjoys the strong relationships built with patients over time. He also has a particular interest in information technology, and is a member of the Midland Region Health Information Clinical Leadership Group. He enjoys the outdoor lifestyle of the Bay of Plenty. To keep active and fit, Marshall competes nationally in sprint and marathon kayaking.

Dr Fiona Whitworth
BM, BCh, BA(Oxon), MA, MRCGP (distinction), DCH, DRCOG, FRNZCGP, PGCMedEd, PDipGP, FAEG
Fiona has been a GP for more than 20 years initially training and working in the UK before relocating to New Zealand with her family to enjoy the outdoor life. She has recently returned from a short sabbatical in Australia
Fiona studied medicine at Oxford University and believes in providing medical care that takes into account a patient’s lifestyle and health beliefs. She also believes it’s important for patients to share in medical decision making, and uses her excellent communication skills to form a long-term bond of trust and mutual understanding with her patients.
Fiona is experienced in all aspects of general practice with a passion and reputation for elderly care, women’s’ health and paediatrics.
She has had a variety of educational roles including the Lead medical Educator for the Bay of Plenty GP scheme. She is currently a fellowship assessor for GPs in the region.
Outside of work Dr Fiona enjoys dancing and hiking, she recently completed the Overland Track in Tasmania.

Jannine is a Registered Nurse, Counsellor, and Supervisor.
She holds a bachelor’s in nursing, a Postgraduate Certificate endorsed in co-existing disorders and research methods, Postgraduate Diploma endorsed in Mental Health and a Certificate of Proficiency in Professional Supervision. She belongs to the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (MNZAC), New Zealand Nurses Organisation (NZNO) and Drug and Alcohol Practitioners Association of Aotearoa New Zealand (DAPAANZ).
She has over twenty-five years’ experience in the health sector and extensive clinical backgrounds in mental health and addiction fields.
She is New Zealand born. Outside of work she enjoys the outdoor lifestyle, spending time with her family and travelling.
She works for Chadwick Healthcare as a Health Improvement Practitioner Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday’s and the remaining two days in private practice. Her role in private practice includes counselling, facilitating groups, providing supervision and education.

Stephanie moved to the Bay of Plenty in 2011 after completing her medical training at Otago University. She then worked as a House Surgeon and Medical Registrar at Tauranga Hospital before beginning her career in General Practice.
Stephanie enjoys all areas of General Practice, however her main interests are chronic care and Paediatrics. She is also interested in pursuing a Diploma in Travel Medicine.
Outside of work she likes to make the most of the outdoor lifestyle that the Bay of Plenty has to offer. Her particular passions are running, touch rugby, swimming and tramping.
Chadwick Healthcare Bethlehem
Rose is a Malaysian-born Chinese GP who is fluent in four different languages – Cantonese, Mandarin, Malay and English.
Her strong desire to help other people led her to study medicine in Melbourne. After graduating in 1994, she married her classmate and the couple immigrated to New Zealand after completing their medical internships in Australia.
Rose gave birth to her first daughter while studying towards her Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is now a mother of two girls, and has been working as a GP since 1998. She is a compassionate, approachable GP who has a particular interest in preventative health, women’s health and children’s wellbeing. Rose works closely alongside other health professionals to ensure her patients receive specialist care when required.
Rose joined Chadwick Healthcare’s team in September 2006 and enjoys reading, tennis and travelling in her spare time.
