Phone our surgery between 8am and 5pm to make an appointment with your GP. We have GP Telephone assessment appointments available and acute appointments to ensure we can see patients as quickly as possible.

If you are sick or unwell we have a service where a Doctor will call you back at an agreed time to discuss your situation, they can then either :

  • Book you an appointment
  • send a prescription to a pharmacy for pick up
  • offer advice and a follow up plan

Please contact our receptionists for an enrollment form, they will advise what identification the Ministry of Health requires us to obtain from patients in order to access HealthCare subsidies.

Our receptionists will advise which of our GPs are accepting new patients. Please note there are times when we reach our capacity and are unable to process new enrollments.

The Clinical Team at Chadwick Healthcare is very proactive regarding childhood immunisations. We actively support the Ministry of Health Well Child Immunisation Programme and strongly encourage all our patients to immunise their children. Reminders will be sent from our clinical team to parents or caregivers when each immunisation is due and we will continue to encourage you to have your children immunised. This is fundamental to our philosophy and the way we function as a general practice.

We also fully endorse and actively encourage all other health checks such as breast screening, smear taking, heart checks, diabetes screening and prostate checks (as applicable). These are undertaken so we can identify any potential health problems as early as possible.

Chadwick Healthcare has 4 locations across Tauranga, Greerton, Tauriko, Bethlehem & South City - for more details click HERE. Full disability access and you can phone us on 07 579 0144 to make an appointment.

You will be asked to leave your name, contact phone number and a list of the medications you require by name and the pharmacy you would like to pick it up from. You are welcome to phone one of our nurses from 8am until 5pm. They will offer advice or recommend you book a GP appointment if necessary. Booked nurse appointments at the surgery incur a nurse consultation fee according to the appointment’s complexity and duration.

The practice will NOT contact you with the results of all your tests. If your results indicate that some action is required, the practice will make every effort to contact you. If you would like to access the results you can do so on Manage My Health. Please note some results may not be available for up to two weeks

Our GPs are unable to take phone calls from patients –instead all calls are directed to the nurse to triage. She will decide if you need an appointment, or will assist with your query.

We offer standard, complex, and extended consultations which are priced accordingly. If you have a complex problem, or require a medical (for travel, employment or insurance purposes), please advise reception when booking the appointment so the appropriate time can be allocated.

A separate appointment must be booked for each patient to allow our GPs enough time to properly assess and treat each person. However you are more than welcome to bring a support person along to any consultation.
